about this blog.....

I have been playing with idea of having a vintage/craft blog for awhile. I do put vintage patterns on my other blog vintage recipes and such, but I wanted a blog to show what I am working on as well.
I have tons of patterns, crochet, quilt, knit( in which I don't do, ),Tatting ( a lost art that wished I could do),embroidery ,.....plus other things I have patterns for but have forgotten about......

I crochet , dabble in some quilting as well....both my grandmothers quilted, the piece quilts and did them by hand...both of my grandmothers are gone but are never forgotten....
I will still be putting some patterns on the blog with vintage recipes once a week...
My mom also quilts and she has a mast collection of patterns as well....

the vintage patterns can come from workbasket magazines or others I have...I collect patterns whether I ever have worked on them or not.....I just love patterns of any kind....especially if perhaps I can do the craft it outlines in the patterns...

I will try and post something I am working on here once a week....yes I am one of those ones that have several projects working at the same time.....I guess I got that from my mom as she does the some thing , but all of her projects are quilts....

I may not show the pattern for the project I am working on depending on if I made it up or not.....as I do that for some small craft projects, like for example the hat and the scarf for our mascot ( what the little farm is named for ) Henni......

 

Sometimes I start a project and before it is finished I don't like it or circumstances are what they are and I don't get it finished and move on....If it is a crocheted item I do take it apart and reuse the yarn elsewhere.....

I so hope everyone enjoys this new blog about crafting , vintage patterns....etc....
