Henni`s New Years hat...

since New year eve is just about here, I decided that Henni needed a new years hat....
Henni is the mascot of my little farm/plant nursery

First off , I took some foam and cut into a triangle and then wrote 2015 on the hat. then glued the fuzzy stuff on the hat...I don't really know what the fuzzy stuff is called so I call it fuzzy...

it was nice so I just had take some pictures of henna with her new hat on. I taped it on by the way, since it will not be used again as 2015 just comes around once....

hope you enjoy!

my crochet projects....

making a scarf for camo girl....

Making a afghan for camo girl as well...it has a zing zang pattern on it... I forgot what the pattern that inspired me to do this pattern is called but it is a Indian type pattern..

The finished scarf...

Another crocheted afghan project...that I work on from time to time....will have to post this patterns soon. I am not totally following the pattern directions for this afghan...making it in granny squares, I do believed it will be much bigger then the original pattern.
This afghan is big...

Well that's all that I am working on for crocheting besides the scarfs....similar to the one above but in different colors.....

can make a scarf for you as well, just let me know the colors you want . I am asking 15 for each scarf...

I am still making these awareness scarfs as well
orange for leukemia, lupus, kidney cancer

Lime awareness scarf... for non-Hodgkin cancer

Can even make a multicolored one as well...

ENJOY !

my Christmas Clown costume

Not many know I do some clowning and used to have a dress that I wore for clowning, but needless to say I got alittle fluffy of sorts, so I opt to wear overalls instead of the dress, it kinda fits my clown \name...Hillbilly Annie...
my shirt pattern is adapted from my dress pattern that I had, in which was just a skirt with a bib and shirt...a old Ringling brothers costume pattern I got a few years ago..

always have trouble putting the elastic on the sleeves or anywhere, always end up taking it apart and redoing it at least a couple of times

finished sleeve

Finished top with out snaps, because I don't do button holes
                                                         now on to the overalls

First off I get a pair of overalls  at a garage sale or yard sale whatever you want to call them or even a thrift store...
I washed them when I get them, then try them on and decide where I need to cut the legs at.

I draw a line on one of the legs then cut both legs at the same time...even cut

Then I embellished the overalls a bit..since this one is Christmas themed, Rudolph goes on...yes I put them on by hand and sew each one on by hand...

the monster from Rudolph

Next I decide to paint Merry Christmas on the front and I painted Happy New Year on the back

Now it is finished, yay...hopefully I will get to wear for the Christmas parties at the local school....for winter weather is forecasted this week.

Update on the camo/orange afghan I am working on for camo girl...I decided to take apart and make it somewhat smaller so it would be easier to handle  and am now working on that since I want it done by Christmas....I started on it last year after I made the oldest one an afghan....

Enjoy!
