Granny Squares E-6

This is another granny square from the Better homes and garden book

E-6:( 1 circle Motif)-Work motif as done in E-3(in which we haven't done yet) Work 5 rnds from the E-1 pattern

With first color ch 4 sl st  in 1st ch to form a ring

Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 12 sc in center of ring: join with sl st to beg sc. do not end off

Rnd 2: NOTE: work in both loops. ch 3( counts as 1 dc), 2 dc in same sp, ch* sk next 3 sc, 3 dc in next sc, ch 1 rep from* around (6 groups of 3 dc): join with sl st to beg dc. Do not end off

Rnd 3: Work 1 sl st in top of next dc, ch 3 1 dc in same sp,* ch 1, sk next dc, 2 dc in next dc, rep from * around ( 12 groups of 2 dc). ch 1, join with sl st to beg dc. End off

Rnd 4: Attach second color in ch 1 sp, ch 3( counts as first dc) work * ( 3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in same sp( corner), 3 dc bet next group of 2 dc, 2 times. Rep from * 3 more times; join with sl st to beg dc, end off

Rnd5: attach third color . work 1 sc in each st and between groups of dc, and in each corner 1 sc, ch 3, 1 sc ;join with sl st to beg ch sc. end off.
