Rail Fence 1 quilt block

First pick out your fabric, sorry no pic...just used fabric I had

cut into 2 inch strips, that is the size of strips I used
then sew up the strips

here is the pattern

another pic of strips with 4 together
measure the strips after sewing all together
then cut our your strips into sections
my strips were about 5 inches across
so I cut my strips into 5 inch sections

                                                       lay out your pattern

sew up both sides

then sew both sides together and
here is the finished quilt block
I only did 4 sections, but from this you should get the idea

next is rail fence 11
