no pattern

I am sorry i havent posted a quilt pattern here is a few weeks, but have been busy in the garden

9 patch star 1

Friendship star quilt pattern

 

here is the pattern

 

 

pick your color/fabric

you will need two

 
                                                       cut out what you need
                                                   4 squares of color a
                                                   2 squares of color a cut diagonally
                                                   1 square of color B
                                                   2 squares of color b cut diagonally

 

lay out block

now lets sew

done

 

sewn together row 1 and 2

 

 

Row 3

now on to the next one

 

 

Contrary wife 1 quilt block

                                          Here is the block pattern, now lets sew one up

 

choose your fabric

these are fat quarters

 

cut out fabric that you choose

5 squares of one color

4 squares of two different colors then

cut diagonally

lay out the block pattern

now lets sew this one up

 

 

first I sewed the diagonally square

 

 

first two squares done of row 1

now to sew the other square on

 

Row 1 done

yoohoo

now row 2

 

Row 2 has two diagonally squares

these two are done

 

 

first two rows are done

now lets sew them together

now the third row

 

almost done

                                             pretty nice looking huh?

I decided to start with the first row

first the square with the diagonally or rather half square

you can choose to sew of these up at once

but I choose to do as I go along

 

first two blocks/squares are sewn

 

first row done

now lets start on the second row

 

                                                 first two squares sewn on second row

 

second row sewn together

now lets sew it on to the first row

 

first two rows are done

now lets work on that last row

 

 

third row done

I snug in on ya didn't I

anyways now to sew the block together

 

done....it still needs to be trimmed on the sides,

 but I think it looks pretty good

what do you all think?

Calico puzzle Quilt pattern

 

here is the piece quilt pattern

now choose your fabric....

I already choose mine, what I had on hand

 

 

cut out your pieces

the plain jane squares are 3 inches square

the half triangles were at the beginning squares that were 3 1/2 inch square

and then I cut them diagonally

 

 

I sew the half triangles first

 

 

now lets start sewing up the block

first row

 

 

I finished the first row and then done the second row

 

                           
                                        Sewed the second row on
                                            now lets work on the third row

 

starting of the third row

I then sewed the third row on

 

and this block is done ...now move on to the next block

 

 

 

Hourglass 1 quilt block...

                                      This is the block I decided to do next, the hourglass

 

choose your fabrics

You will need three colors

I choose black,pink,red all with polka dots.

these are all fat quarters I found that I liked at Walmart...

Next decide on how big the squares will be

I did 3 inch squares

 

next lay out the pattern

I tried cutting the two squares that have two colors into 3 inches

but that didn't work for me so they are 3 1/2 inches square

 

 

sew the two color squares together and then lay out pattern

 

 

 

then start sewing up

 

 

all rows are sewn together...now sew rows together

again I cant do my points

see how simple that was...
